ASEM at 25: Strengthening Asia-Europe Partnership in a Transforming World
On 22 June 2021, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, His Excellency Deputy Prime Minister PRAK Sokhonn, will virtually attend the Opening Session of the High-Level Policy Dialogue on “ASEM at 25: Strengthening Asia-Europe Partnership in a Transforming World,” which will be held in Ha Noi, Viet Nam.
ASEM have been processed since its inception in 1996, and its role as one of the cornerstones of global governance. Cambodia has proposed in ASEM13 – “Strengthening Multilateralism for Shared Growth”- is more relevant than ever. The 25th ASEM Anniversary will provide opportunity for all ASEM Partners and stakeholders to (1) reflect on ASEM’s past achievement; (2) assess new and emerging trends; (3) identify ASEM’s main areas of cooperation; and (4) further advance Asia-Europe partnership.
